About me
I love to cook and especially love to eat, but time is hard to come by. So I am consumed by two goals, firstly finding delicious weekday recipes that are simple and easy to make (my rule is 30 mins or less), healthy, but will also fill my husband up and secondly uncovering recipes for special weekend cooking when I have time and don't mind spending an entire afternoon in the kitchen- recipes to impress. I'm an Aussie and have access to great fresh produce- I focus alot on fresh ingredients and like to make sure we have a big variety of fresh fruit and vegetables in our diet.

Thank you buddy for accepting the invitation.Hope to share good recipes..Cheers.

Thanks for the kind words about the meatballs. So glad you liked them. I always make a huge batch and freeze leftovers for a quick meal, my boys love toasted meatball subs. The more you make them, the more you can experiment with different meats and spices, personally I think it's all the garlic, eggs and italian cheese that give them the 'kick'.
Thanks again.

Hi, I was leaving a comment on Jo Jo Ba's page and saw your comment to her. I became interested in looking over your recipes when you said they were a bit meaty. I perked right up and came right over. If you look at my postings you'll understand why. I pushed the "be my friend" button.
Now I'm scrolling down to the meaty dishes. Ha

Hiya
If you read step #4 on how to make the tortillas if you cannot get a press. Easy hon...hope you make them and thanks for coming to my recipe page. Joymarie

Hi, Mareelouise, and welcome to the site! Thanks for the kind comments on my Spicy Cucumber Salad recipe -- I love that one too....the hot peppers with the cool cucumbers, and a touch of mint....YUM! Great way to enjoy all those cucumbers from your neighbour!!LOL :)

Hi there. Thanks for the comments. I am envious of you having access to really fresh produce, our season is short here--north of Boston and our growing season even shorter. Looking forward to trying your recipe this weekend. Take care. :->

Hi there :) Thank you so much for the cooking buddy invite and I gladly accept. I was going to make the chicken recipe tonight but realized late this afternoon that my daughter had vegged out on the tomatoes and I didn't have any so it will have to wait till trip to grocery tomorrow. We are in the middle of winter here in the States so most of our produce comes out of a store right now. Cannot wait for summer to arrive and all the wonderful garden fruits and veggies to be had.
