About me

I'm an avid learner, choosing to mostly cook recipes of food I don't have much experience with. I love discovering new tastes, and I enjoy cooking the food as much, if not more than, eating it. When I'm bored, I'd scour the pantry, fridge, and freezer for things I can cook up in a meal.

I especially enjoy spicy food, and thanks to the nagging of my roommate, have tried to eat healthier. I've come to realize that healthy doesn't always mean nasty-tasting.

I always point out that the best thing God ever did was give us taste buds.

Hi - THAT is the kind of cooking i enjoy,too. when bored - look into the larder and cook up a storm! my daugher-in-law says: when i open the larder and fridge, i say: there is nothing to eat. when you open it - you cook up a storm and a terrific three-course meal.'
and it does not hurt that my son can do that, too.! that is what we call:learning by doing.

Black Bean Feta Cheese S

This sounds delicious as I love black beans & of course feta cheese. Can't wait to try it for myself or for when I do our Church's Coffee Hour which is next month! Thanks.

yessss, have to agree with theiris - this 'sauce' contains ingredients that i just LOVE to eat. will try it my next pasta day - saturday - i've got everything at home. thank
