About me
I am retired and live in Mazatlán, México. I have always loved to cook. The main problem I have here in Mazatlán is that many ingredients I love are not available! I can't cook Thai food, lamb is almost impossible to find, as is real cured ham and Italian sausage. No such thing as corned beef or pastrami, which I love. Nor can I buy good rye bread (or rye flour), dill, fennel, many other spices. But the veggies and fruit we have are wonderful and so is the fish and especially shrimp. I just have to wait until a trip north to eat some of the things I crave!
