Hi Mekiess! Thank you for commenting on the recipe I submitted for Lasagna Slow Cooker Or Crock Pot Style. I love anything that makes life a little easier ;-)

Jackie says you would put your Branston Pickle on your butty with some picalilli. Translated that means on bread or a sandwich, it is a kind of chutney and so is picalilli. And to think I could speak English…..

So glad the cherry mash candy was a big hit! Funny how recipes are forgotten, but then so easily remembered. Glad you were able to finally find the chips. I'm having the same problem up here.
I was born and raised just north of you and there are so many things we would use that we can not find in our grocery store's up here and can be quite frustrating.

Most of my recipes are handed down from my Mom and from good friends who cook and entertain. I never ear Veal because I've seen how it is raised in confinment, however I don't have the same feelings about chickens! I've had one recipe published in a Midwestern favorites cookbook, but have never entered a contest! I don't do recipes that require a lot of handling. I like straight forward food that doesn't need to be cut into fancy shapes or arranged just so on a plate. Where I live you can obtain just about any ingredient and we shop local farmers markets when available. My husband cooks also.

Love the banana marshmallow cake! I had to fend off the dogs while I was dropping it on the floor! Tonight I'm going to try making it with coconut covered marshmallows. I'll let you know how it comes out!
