About me
I am a newlywed who is thrilled to have an audience to cook for (though my husband doesn't have the most selective palate...he'll eat just about anything). Still it's great for the ego. I love trying new things and NEVER stick to the rule that you should make something for a party that you've already made before. There are far too many things out there to try to just stick to what you know. Same goes for dinner! I have had the fortune of traveling to many countries including: China, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Russia, and most of the Scandinavian Countries. Because of that I have tried many authentic dishes and often try to infuse these flavors into my cooking experiments. I also love entertaining and do as often as I (and my wallet) can afford. I am upset that there aren't more NJ foodies, but hopefully that number will grow!!! I need everyone to know about my "go-to" ingredient. It is called Goya Adobo and you can find it in the ethnic food aisle of your supermarket. What makes this seasoning so special is that it can easily add amazing flavor to just about any meat. Take any meat recipe and before you go ahead with the rest of the ingredients, sprinkle on a little Adobo...you'll be glad you did.

Hello! Thanks for the buddy invite!

Hello, Thanks for being my cooking friend.

THanks for looking at the stuffed onion and hot and cold tequila.....With the tequila, it tastes like a peppery tequila...I use it mixed with tomato juice and my guy shoots it....I have a friend that likes to sip it so I guess what I'm saying is that it can be used any way you want....We love tequila here too.....But if you make it, you gotta try it in the juice, it is so good.....:)

Hi and thanks for being my new cooking buddy!

I am so glad the simple comfort food sandwich idea works for you. Can you just picture the kids scarfing down my "special and just for you" sandwiches? Simple is sometimes perfect. I hope they make you happy, too.

Lol, wonder if we know eachother :o) I don't actually live in H-town but very very close...

I've added adobo seasoning to my shopping list, I'll let you know how it goes. = )

*wink*
