About me
I am married 34 years to my high school sweetheart & we have a 23 year old son(Beau) & a 12 year old choco lab(Maggie). My heritage is Cajun on my father's side (he's deceased) & my mom & brother live in South Louisiana. So I love to cook & eat Cajun food! I love to cook all kinds of things & my hubby is a big sweet eater so I make lots of cookies, pies, cakes, etc...I also make my own bread. I'm always on the lookout for good new recipes, especially casseroles. Emeril & Paula Deen are my favorite "celebrity" chefs. I am a quilt pattern designer & have started a little business called Prairie Patch Quilts & I'm working on building my website. I love to quilt as much as I love to cook!! I also make my own handmade soap, which will be up on my website as well. I'm looking forward to trying a lot of new recipes & sharing some of my own tried & true with the group.
