We are looking for a recipe for a "chnky" pumpkin pie. More like a custard pie with cooked (baked) pumpkin chunks in it. We're contemplating adding fesh ginger and brandy to the pumpkin pieces cut from the cooked shell and adding that to custard pie recipe (halved). Do you think it would work?
