Got married at seventeen,knew nothing about cooking was never taught ,worked outside doing farm work. My then husband tought me how to cook mashed potatoe,boil vegies from the garden and cook chops under the grill as you can understand I got tired of this menu day in day out for some weeks although this was his fare for many years it was not to my taste , the joy when I discovered cookbooks well lets say I never looked back don't grill chops anymore either lol
