About me
I'm Trysha and my ♥ belongs to my semi-angelic daughters Chloë, 5, and Madeline, 3. I'm a born New Yorker, but having lived in the Southwest and the Deep South, I've developed tastes for their regional foods, too (i.e., Piñon coffee, chipotles, and biscochitos in New Mexico; red rice, pulled pork, and buttermilk biscuits in South Carolina). My ethnic background is a mix of Italian, German, English, Dutch, French, and Irish (at least); as a child I grew-up with much exposure to real ethnic foods from my family heritage(s). I've been cooking since I was eight and now that I have kids, I tend to opt for the easy ... but I still love it. It's my favorite hobby, and I am instilling in my girls an appreciation for cooking and taste. Their palates are already trained to demand more than just chicken nuggets and catsup. And that makes me smile!
