About me
Hi! I've been collecting recipes for years but I admit to being more of a little-of-this-little-of-that type of cook. Married 13 years, working mom w/ one daughter who just started kindergarten and soccer. Fun stuff! My husband is a high school teacher/coach, sports fan, hunter, and makes maple syrup each year - there's a season for everything! :-) My pantry and cooking work around our busy schedule - packing for a day in the gym for a wrestling tournament, a bring-a-dish for a Texas Hold'em game, packing for camping, etc., so I cover alot of ground preparing cold dishes, our meals, potlucks and for guests - the recipes here have been an inspiration! Have recently began canning more. Trying to be less freezer dependent (lost quite a bit to a power outage a couple years ago) and I also can quick meals - chili, stew, etc. - that have lets me get dinner to the table quickly when we are busy.
