Lived on the coast for over 25 years. Born and raised in Chicago, IL and relocated to Mississippi. Have always loved to cook but in the past few years I have taken a more adventurous direction towards new recipes. I love southern cooking and southern foods and continue to learn everyday. With the internet I have found some excellent home-cooking chefs with simple recipes that would make your mouth water. Online southern foodies have made for some new and interesting cooking.
