About me
I am horrified that so many candy and cookie recipes are showing up as being those I might like. I am myself more of a fat and salt addict. It's why losing weight is something I can only dream of. A member of the SCA (http://www.sca.org or http://www.currentmiddleages.org/) I'm interested in researching the history of different ways of preparing common foods, and in finding truly old recipes. In my culinary spare time I poke fun at Sandra Lee and her "Semi-Homemade" style of throwing random prepared foods together and calling it cooking. (If you happen to LIKE Lee, that's between you and your palate... I stand by my assertion that she's a mediocre interior decorator who only thinks she can cook.)
