About me
I'm a professional mom and also a musician. I take it as a personal challenge to use my food budget frugally and still make great food! I try to keep my pantry well stocked so that dinner fixins are always at hand without a trip to the store. One of my favorite things to do is read cookbooks from cover to cover......my husband reminds me that any recipe I could ever need is available on the internet, but, holding the real deal in your hand and reading the background and stories included in a book cannot be replaced by the internet. I have a large collection of vintage cookbooks. I cook from scratch when I can and it gives me much satisfaction.
