About me
I am a Christian Cuban American Grandmother or "Nana" as my 10 Granchildren call me. My ancestors come from Italy on my Father's side and Spain on my Mother's side. I was born in Cuba in 1946 and left in 1962. I became an American Citizen many years ago and love both Cuba and the US. I learned the love of cooking, and eating Cuban food from my grandmothers and my mother. They are in Heaven now, but I know they continue to watch over me and our family. I still have a few relatives in Cuba. My dream is to be able to go back to a free Cuba one day to visit and enjoy the beauty of my country of birth once again. Cuba is a tropical island, and I have never stopped missing the weather, the beaches, the palm trees and my relatives.
