About me
I'm originally from the South, so I adore food from that region, especially Texas and Louisiana, but I've lived all over the country, so I make very global food for my family. My husband loves anything spicy or Asian, so we always try to have a lot of seafood in the house - it's one of the only meats my son will regularly eat that isn't deep-fried. We live in the country, so we've been enjoying learning to make very traditional and regional foods (saves on the budget, too!). I have an insatiable sweet tooth that only gets worse as I learn about desserts from all over the world; I used be willing to walk miles across Waikiki to get hot malasada puffs (so much better than a donut!). We're trying to eat healthier this year, and still enjoy all our favorite foods, so I joined this group to learn new recipes for my family.
