About me
Hi, I'm an Iowa farm girl born and raised. My husband of 31 years and I have 2 daughters in college and we couldn't be more proud of the young women they've become. My husband and I own and acreage, but we don't farm. We have a hobbie farm with a lot of animals. I was able to stay home with the girls till they got out of school and then went back to my job as a Vet tech. We also have a dog rescue.... we love all animals, but there was such a need for a dog rescue, and the Veterinary Hospital I work at is also the local area shelter, so I have a steady supply of dogs and cats that need help. We just let the cats come home to stay (spayed and neutered of course) but the dogs we try to adopt out. I LOVE rescuing, but it it doesn't leave me a lot of time between working full time and taking care of all these animals. I fall madly in love with each one and placing them is joyous and devastating at the same time . I LOVE this site and the people I've met here. If you contact me and I don't answer right away, please understand. I want too, I just might not be able to get on-line for awhile. Cooking is relaxing to me and I've always loved it
