    I only have low and high settings on my crock pot? Any advice? Also, are you talking about putting a plastic wrap over the oatmeal and then covering it with the lid? Little confused about the plastic.

    I am not a coffee drinker either - tea only. Nope, you don't taste the coffee, but it adds nice bass notes to all the high notes of tomatoes and spices. I add coffee powder to my chili, too, for nice rounded flavors. Try it! Oh, and welcome to the site, Oliviaj!
