About me
Just retired this year and learning to cook again. Love to preserve food. Enjoy cooking for a crowd...like when the kids come home. Olivia (my Border Collie) likes treats, but doesn't want to eat what I cook. She definitely doesn't like spicy foods. I was born and raised here in the Sutherlin area, worked here and am taking time for myself this year, to pick blackberries and make cobbler and jellie. Enjoy the summer and make new friends around me as I just moved a few miles away. I enjoy raising at least part of what I eat, striving for more natural foods, but I'm not a fanatic about it. So I have some chives, garlic, herbs and kale. It's been hot here this summer and my lettuce didn't come up earlier, but now lettuce is on the way...you might say I have plans.
