I was the "lucky" recipient of your comment? How big of you. Also, what ever happened to dreams and aspirations? I wish I had time to make all the recipes I find interesting. You should see the stack on my desk! I cook every day and am constantly on the look out for an interesting meal. If something sounds good, I'm going to let that person know whether I intend to really make it or not. No sweat off my back for doing so. Over time with cooking experience you can pretty much tell a good recipe from a lousy one. Still, I like to encourage people that try.

Good Afternoon Opal,
What I find most baffling is, you take the time to write the same question regarding other people's feelings on two of my recipes. Don't you have anything better to do with your time? Most members leave an encouraging word out of kindness, support and gratitude over a good idea. As you suggest, some try a dish first and post a comment later. There are no concrete rules on when to leave a comment about a dish. You are free to do what you want.
Lighten up.

Good Afternoon ChiChi:
I value the opinions of others who have experienced recipes when they tried them. Too many people spend time saying they'll do things in life. I say: 'Tell me about the experience after you've done it." A good motto to live by. Many recipes look delicious but referrals go a long way to avoiding expensive disasters. You just happen to be the lucky recipient of my comment twice although I wasn't targeting you. So why don't we BOTH lighten up?
Have a great day, Chichi.
