About me
I grew up in a home where my mother knew her way around a kitchen. I would sit in the kitchen while she baked and cooked and ask her questions. It paid off as I have a very appreciative husband who says women who cook are a lost breed. (So many women today almost seem proud to announce that they don't cook.) I have a large collection of cookbooks. I retired from teaching after 34 years and have time to explore new recipes. We have two of the cutest kitties, Winslow and Baxter.
