About me
I am very good at eating. This, I believe to be a genetic predisposition. My entire family talks about food at the dinner table. When I was a child, my brother and I used to hoodwink our mother into having Gourmet Night; we would get to eat our favorite things and learn how to cook them. She, of course, did most of the work. At age six, I once left the house and walked down to the lake with a fishing rod with one worm on the hook. I returned home hours later with three fish, which my father cleaned and we ate with dinner. My family was very impressed. A neighborhood dad had helped me attach additional worms to the line, but the fishing successes were all mine. We also used to trap and net blue crabs off dilapidated piers in North Carolina back in the day. Worst cooking experience? Two words: carbon papadums. I tried to be a vegetarian for several years, but it was all over one birthday dinner when a boyfriend ordered lamb chops. I asked for a bite and supposedly my eyes rolled back in my head. Food is essential, so it should be pleasurable. I love to cook.

I'm sure a little cardamom would be a good spice to add to the sunny cake - why don't you just try it? cardamom and orange - geat, in arab cooking (if i remember correctly)this combination must have been used.thank you for your comment.

Wild Rice Salad
Wild about wild rice with pine nuts, the cranberries add another little bit of sunshine to the dish both with color and nutritionally.

Jooky is the nickname of a woman I know. Maybe she makes the juice. No wait, she's in RL not SL. I have met a Pookah...

I cannot imagine what it must be like to ha

Congee With Mustard Green
This sounds delicious. I immediately associate it with comfort food because of a recipe that Baron shared with me when I was sick. His mum used to make him a chicken congee,

Congee With Mustard Green
Same here. I didn't know it was called congee. We always called it mush....and I've just recently discovered I love mustard greens... This must be a sign from the universe.

Thomas Keller Mon Poulet
Cream top yogurt (Brown Cow maple is my favorite)! Have you tried the Total Greek strained yogurt (full fat being the best, naturally)? That and a little Tupelo honey and some
