About me
I live in south Texas. I have 2 wonderful grown kids with 4 grandkids and another on the way! I love to cook and enjoy trying new recipes. I have been cooking since I was 15 years old and have some good recipes to share. I am most happy when cooking up a good meal for guests or a party. I really like the challenge of a new recipe or trying to copy a dish I have eaten at a restaurant just by the flavors I can taste. I am excited to have found this site. I agree this is a very good pound cake, I may make one tomorrow and add the cherries and nuts. Sounds very good. I'll also add some almond flavoring to go with the cherries.
