MARCH 1943 ~ MAY 2009. A BRILLIANT PASTRY CHEF OF 50 YEARS...AND WONDERFUL FATHER. I'M SURE... EVEN NOW IN HEAVEN... HE'S BAKING FOR GOD AND ALL OF HIS ANGELS...
I'm 45 yrs. ol d...married 24 yrs.... a mom of 2 daughters... one 19... one 22. I'm also the grandmother of a 3 yr. old grandson as well.....AND......THEY ALL LIVE WITH US!!! Yes...it 's a bit chaotic at times, but it's also very rewarding! I'll always look back at this time in my life with a smile. Right now...I'm looking forward to having a mini-assistant in the kitchen with me. I can just see my grandson trying to lick the cake batter off of the spatula, while I'm freaking out over the raw egg!!! LOL! ! Along w/ baking, I like to stay active. I enjoy many different activities, but especially love cycling, (especially mountain biking) & jogging. I'm from a large Italian Family, & as I mentioned earlier..the daughter of a retired New York Pastry Chef! Bet you can guess my favorite foods!? I'm very picky! I'd rather prepare meals & desserts at home than eat in restaurants. I'm a pastry chef "want-to-be", who would bake & prepare desserts 7 days a week if I had the time! Chocolate desserts of any kind, & cheesecake are my top 2 favorites...3rd would be homemade ice cream, w/ Italian Gelato being the favorite in that category. While cheesecakes rank at the top of my list to play around with, and work on perfecting...I love baking everything!!!...which ALWAYS made my Dad SO proud... :) Read more
