Currently lovin': Italian and Mexican, but looking for lighter, healthier versions. I also love grilling, baking and making frozen desserts. (while enjoying a deliciuos glass of wine, of coarse!)

About me
Married to my high school sweet heart for 23 years, and proud mom of 2 daughters; one 18, one 21. I'm also the grandmother of a 2 year old grandson.! I'm a full time, stay-home mom as well as a full time, stay-home-grandma. My older daughter and grandson live with us, and have since the day we brought them home from the hospital. BIG time readjustment having a toddler in our home!!! I was shocked to find that I am quite rusty! But...it's like riding a bicycle...it's all coming back! I'm looking forward to having a mini-assistant in the kitchen with me. I can just see him trying to lick the batter off of the spatula, while I'm freaking out because of the raw egg!!! LOL! ! =O I'm from an Italian Family, and daughter of a retired New York City Pastry Chef! Bet you can guess my favorite foods!!!??? I'm very picky about food! I'd rather prepare meals and desserts at home than eat in restaurants. I'm a pastry chef "want-to-be", who would bake and prepare desserts 7 days a week if I had the time! Chocolate desserts of any kind, and cheesecake are my top 2 favorites...3rd would be homemade ice cream, with Gelato being the favorite in that category. While cheesecakes rank at the top of my list to play around with, I love baking everything.
