    My two rotties are always in the kitchen at dinner time. Unfortunately, they wish to begin taste-testing before the meal is through and I usually eat at the table with at least one head lying in my lap awaiting a handout.

    Boy, I'm right there with you on the "from scratch" concept.

    Regarding recipes for diabetics... I believe the American heart association puts out a cookbook for diabetics. Will look around, because I know there are others as well.

    Dear Pixilated,
    Diabetes runs in my family so I use Sweet Leaf Stevia, a sweetner made from a south American plant. It has no glycemic count so its great for Diabetics to use. I get mine from the local Health Food shop but I've also seen it in Rite Aid drug stores.
