Thanx for the comment on the chow mein..as for cooking on stove-top I'm sure it wouldn't be too much different..try sauteing your veggies first then cook your chicken in a large pan then add your liquids to simmer a bit then your cornstarch and the rest of your veggies...hope I was of some help. :)
