About me
I have been cooking since I was a small kid and realized that I made people smile with everything I cooked. I would like to create a cookbook and I am not sure when it will be in print but it will be. I'm not in a hurry to rush a good thing. If you have made one of my recipes and made some additions that have made it your very own, let me know what you did and I'll print it in my upcoming cookbook. Also, I'm writing another one that I am going to call: "Springboards For Your Imagination". ***************************** ****************************************************************************** To tell a little about my background, I grew up either in the kitchen or gathered round the table blessing our dinners my mom and dad put together so lovingly. My grandfather was a chef and my grandmother or Nanny as we called her was an awesome cook that made feasts out of barely anything really. She was amazing and had an absolute love for cooking which I inherited. My dad took after his dad and although I'm French/Italian I was raised with lots of Italian influences in the dishes that were served. Mom cooked simple but good things like Pork Chops, Tuna Patties, an occasionally we would eat Mama's Tacos, Daddy's Spaghetti, Lasagna and would go out very rarely. There are 6 in my family. I am the youngest and I live next to my parents who are 78 and 83 years old now. I grew up reading cookbooks like novels dreaming of the time when I could invite people to my house and have big dinner parties. That of course happened and I had lots of good memories that I like to recall when I was married; I also have many more great memories to come! Bean and Pasta Soup: Okay first thanks for the awesome comment and for the 5. Pancetta I would buy from a good European Deli here in Australia - now I don't know how it is for you guys in The States. Take care and have a great weekend.

Thank you for you comment on my icing... I finally gave up on Grouprecipes and the stuff that goes on. That is why I am just now getting back to you. I thought I would give it a rest, a time out. But I came back today and they are still going at it.. How sad. I just don't have the patience to deal with it.

But thank you for your comment.. It was nice to see..

Hi! Yo have a very nice profile and I wish to join your group to maybe learn some things from you with all that experience. My first language is french but I manage okay in english.

Your welcome that I had asked for an friend request.I don't see why you couldn't use those one crackers for the meatballs.

Thank you for your comment on my taco soup. This quick and easy and best of all tasty recipe will make a large batch of thick chunky soup. I too like to experiment with substitutions and this recipe is my final result. Check out my feta cheese ball, one of my signature recipes.

Thanks for the 5 on the seasoning. Great on chicken!
