About me
Hi all. i've worked in restaurants for almost 20 years. no formal cooking training, but i know my way around a kitchen. i have a wife who also loves to cook and four children who love to try to cook. i manage a restaurant/bar by night (and cook there, and bartend, and bounce) and i am a video game tester by day. when i'm not working at one of those jobs i like to pretend i'm a writer. i also love watching movies, reading comic books (my collection in progress can be found here: http://comicbookrealm.com - look up precursor) and (obviously) playing video games. i am an insomniac, so i'm usually up late watching strange foreign films or playing video games that i won't let the kids play. i like to experiment in the kitchen, both at work and at home... update- i recently won the cookie contest at work! then i was challenged by a coworker for an unofficial rematch, and i schooled her too! hooray for cookie domination!
