    Thanks for the nice comment on my Proud Father Today post. It has been fun and glad you are a friend. How funny you are! Raining outside, it is time to cook fried chicken and I have my IPOD playing too! Yep had chickens, the ones that lay colored eggs. 4th of july block party, I sit down and a guy says hi with Irish brough accent. I say, Aye, from Ireland (in my Irish accent) NO he says Scotland. I say aye a highlander. What part of Ireland am I from. Ah, the norther part (still in irish accent). He says Gattlin, ay I say. He says, I detected the Gattling accent. I am just crazy. JJ

    I think we have some of the best food in the world in our neck of the woods. I live about 20 minutes from Hammond and 25 from New Orleans. Good food on every corner. The French Quarter is back full blast, can't say that for the rest of the city. It's so hot here now, it will have to cool off before I venture across the lake to the city.
