    Thanks for Grams Pineapple Icebox Dessert -sounds like the one I've been searching for forever!
    However I vaguely remember cream filled vanilla wafers (the very thin wafer with cream filling in layers) as the cookie ingredient. Do you think they could be used?

    Just read that you have The Frog recipes. Born in Philly and now living in SE Florida - missing the good old days of baking and have started again. Looking for some GREAT recipes from scratch and my girlfriend told me about The Frog. How can I get some more of his recipes from you?

    thank you so much, Theresa, this was wonderful for me to read. I know how your mom must feel - I missed Europe and Germany when I lived in the States -although I liked it there as well. I had wanted to post some more traditional recipes during the christmas break here - but there wasn't much of a break.
