Using the wonton wrappers sound like a neat idea. Do let me know how it turns out. Also there is a place to put in alterations on the recipe, you can put that in there to if you like.

I sometimes roll them out or I cut them with a star or a circle cookie cutter, just plop them in. I guess I forgot to say that! Thanks.

Can't wait 'til winter to try this one! It is too hot here in Texas to eat soup during the summer, but this will be 1st on my list in the fall!!

Sounds good, do you roll out the batter (like tortillas) before frying them? The elephant ears I have seen where flat and very good!
