My husband goes to Costco and brings home maple bacon. so good! thanks for the post. when I get plain bacon I will do this.

Rutabaga has a mild sweet flavor, I would guess somewhere between carrots and sweet potatoes (not yams). Trust me, you wont be dissapointed.
