    It should be dry sturdy white wine, but I guess a sweet one would work, though I'd recommend against it.

    Thanks for the comments on my cucumber salad recipe! I've actually tried it with olive oil in the past and it was too strong of a flavor for the light salad. Sometimes, I use canola oil and then add a couple tsps of olive oil. Hope you enjoy it!
