    What kind of liver do you use? Have you ever done chicken livers? I do those with bacon and onions.

    And you're absolutely right... do NOT change your standby, okay?? My late hub LOVED my liver n onions, but he like mashed potatoes topped with chopped fresh onion. My ma always made fried potatoes when I was growing up. Btw, I hail from NE Arkansas.
