I'm looking for a lemon flavored cookie recipe that I can cut out in shapes (actually the shape of the state of Texas and the head of a longhorn-mascot of the University of Texas at Austin). I have the cookies cutters that I need, what I really need is a good recipe that will make a tasty tangy cookie and easy to make. We are having a graduation party for a son-in-law getting his PhD from UT Austin and I thought it would be cute to have cookies with the state of Texas and the longhorn.
