About me
Cookbooks, I love cookbooks. I have gathered quite the collection over the years. I find most of mine at yard sales and have picked up some awesome deals. Recipes, like I don't have enough but I'm always on the internet for more. That's why I'm here. When I'm not at home cooking or baking I'm cooking and baking at work in a small cafeteria. I own a pasta maker, 2 bread machines and 4 slow cookers and most of that came from yard sales. We brew our own beer and make our own wine. Hubby and I love to get in the kitchen and create new recipes. I would love to start a small scale catering business someday, maybe when we retire, which won't be long.

Thank you for commenting on the lima bean hummus recipe. :) I think I will experiment with other beans now that I know that different ones can be used!

Thanks for the kind words! Check out my latest post on the recipe. It was a hit tonight!

Hey no problem. Like I said we're starting to get into curries and that one sounds great. I usually do alot of cooking like that when I have time on weekends and I'm not working and can spend time in the kitchen.

Read your about Me: wondered who would stop by the Elderberry Wine Recipe.I have a lot more homemade Wine recipes.Hope you enjoyed it,if only to make you smile.Kind Regards

I collect old church cookbooks. You know those are tried and true. If you have ever been to a dinner on the ground at a church, you know what wonderful cooks church women are. We attend a lot of fellowship meetings and singings and you always take a covered dish of some sort. Get lots of practice. Usually nothing fancy,,,just plain, good food.
I got a bread machine for Christmas and I am really having a ball, making sandwich bread, pizza crust and egg bread.. : )
