About me
I have been a food service professional for over 40 years. It is in my genes: my grandfather was a baker in British Columbia, my father owned a restaurant in Colfax, WA and I have been a baker and restaurant owner in So. Cal. in addition to travelling the country working in various institutional situations (no, I was never institutionalized, although friends have suggested that). All political beliefs aside, it was my great privilege to have had the opportunity to prepare food for 2 Presidents of the United States, Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter (both were sitting governors, at the time). Following my retirement, I missed my profession, so now, in our 5th wheel, with our best friend Freeway, my partner and I are working chef's at the University of Idaho and having more fun than ever.
