About me
I'm English and I started cooking about 6 years ago. I love Mediterranean food, Eastern food and also good old British pub food too. Never had much of a sweet tooth and I don't generally cook desserts but I do like something sweet on occasions. I lived in Australia for 3 years so the charcoal bbq is a favourite. During this time I lived close to an Asian settlement in Brisbane and got to try some fantastic Chinese, Vietnamese, Balinese, Thai and Malaysian food there. I'm very keen on Indian cooking and like both authentic and westernised versions too. Some of my favourite chefs would be Rick Stein, Nigel Slater (Simple, Homely, British) and Atul Kochhar (Indian).
