I enjoy cooking. I enjoy entertaining. I don't enjoy cleaning so I trick myself into cleaning by having a few friends who love me despite my messy tendencies. I like fresh vegetables, and I am fussy about the meat I purchase.
I enjoy baking fresh bread every chance I get.
I get excited by using local ingredients. I am painfully aware how fortunate I am to have access to food. I no longer have a garden, although I will go to my relatives to weed and pick.
