Too many food sensitivities! I want to try to abide by my list, but it's difficult. No wheat,oats, gluten, potatoes. I love to cook when time. Am an avid gardener; flowers, veggies, herbs Looking for any healthy recipes, especially gluten free breakfast ideas.

I found the Camp Fire cooking group! Several told me about it.
BTW, if you try that coleslaw mold, I went back and edited to only use half the vinegar that the original recipe had. You may want to add vinegar slowly to taste, in case you don't care for a strong vinegar taste.


Is there a group for camp cooking and cooking over the campfire? .....just asking around. I get frustrated going through the group lists.

Yeah on the biscuits;the recipe I tried was from a head of a celiac group!But they didnt taste bad,just came out like shortbread & so crumbly couldnt even spread butter on 'em.So I made them into bread crumbs,waste not want not with GF flours.


Hi Shadow-I was very happy w/my Barry Farm order & it was delivered quickly.Considering the low cost of their flours,the GF brownie recipe barely costs more than using wheat flour.I just made them this evening,awesome!Not all of my baking experiments have gone as well,biscuits were a bummer,I'll keep testing though.
