About me
I am a 25 year old wife and stepmom (2 kids - Cody 13 and Haley 10). I live in Southeast Texas and love to cook and bake. I am a stay-at-home wife and work part-time as a 911/Sheriff's Dept dispatcher. We love to cook all kinds of food in our house. My husband Scott and I love to BBQ and smoke meats. We like to make our own breakfast sausage. I like to can jellies and jams also. Some of our favorite foods are shrimp, beef, chicken, fish and deer meat. We try to plant a garden every year so that we can have home-grown tomatoes, parsley, squash etc... We love typical "southern" foods like chicken fried steak, fried shrimp, fried chicken, BBQ, potatoes, slaws, simple desserts and sweet tea.
