About me
I'm a quilting teacher and artist specializing in fiber art. i'm transitioning over the next decade from full-time work to a full-time creative retirement. I learned to scratch cook from my grandmother many decades ago. She had a modern gas oven on the back porch but did almost all of her cooking on the corn-cob stove in the kitchen. I've been trying to live a Sonoma Diet lifestyle but food keeps seducing me. Oh well ... never trust a skinny cook used to be the old mantra! I enjoy cooking for my Miniatture Pinscher, Sargeant TopGun, using my bread machine, and reading and collecting cookbooks. I'm a computer techhie and enjoy photography, especially of my most adorable grandson!
