Currently lovin' My favorites: lox or smoked mackerel, with garlic and dill-flavored white cheese and onion, on an onion bagel. Some other food loves are: kosher Chicken Kiev, Budapest beef goulash, home baked bread, homemade chicken schnitzel, and among desserts, fresh fruit cup and anything with chocolate .

About me
I was brought up on a mixture of French gourmet, Chinese, East European Jewish and American food. When I made aliyah and moved to Israel in Oct. 1973, my tastes and cooking began to change. I married a Moroccan Jew, and began my love affair with Moroccan food, which continues to this day. I was lucky to have a mother-in-law who loved to cook, so I would watch her in action whenever I got the chance. You had to be there, because she didn't measure anything and never wrote down her recipes! I am divorced now, with two grown-up children who are students, but I didn't get a divorce from Moroccan food. I like other cuisines in addition to Moroccan, and enjoy the challenge of changing recipes so that they will conform to the laws of Kashrut (kosher), since I keep a kosher kitchen.
