About me
I had to learn to cook 3 years ago before I moved from Singapore to the Bay Area. Asian cuisine is expensive in the Bay Area, so I do most of the cooking at home. I like to experiment with new recipes and read food blogs for new ideas. I have learnt basic cooking techniques from my mom and when required, I will still call 1800-MY-MOMMY helpline to check with her how to cook certain things. I maintain a food blog www.simcooks.com to record my adventures with recipes and things I learnt through my culinary experience.
