About me
Most of my original recipes are southern Italian which is where my parents are originally from and have come from my two grandmothers who cooked like nobody's business. I thoroughly enjoy experiencing new cuisines from a wide variety of cultures and trying new ingredients. I love food that tastes good and is good for you... You show me yours and I'll show you mine!

Oh, gosh, softie. I was in the south of France four years ago around this time of year. Its so beautiful there! I've got to get back there again someday.

Hello, softie. Just thought I would drop by and say "hi." I hope all is well with you. Always nice to see your lovely avatar here. :)

Who are you, and why are you leaving rude comments on my profile?
also, more often than not, "i am confident that..." is a phrase muttered by those who don't know what they're doing.
whoever you are, leave me alone.

Softie - shall I fly east and smack you in the head for desecrating your wellness with those abominable cancer sticks? Consider we, the other people in your midst, who have allergies and respiratory issues. You are so polite it would agonize you to do harm to others' wellness just for a few puffs.
I lost forty since I moved to SoCal last year and stopped hanging out with the NoCal winos! There was so much eating to avoid a buzz and I do enjoy wine... wine + food was most destructive. Looks like we're in a similar boat except I'd gotten rid of the skinny clothes and oh, bummer... have had to shop. It's become a game with me to get incredible buys on great stuff and be a strategic shopper. Once you have the few necessary basics, weed out what might fit but is dated anyway, then the big questions are how much do I want and need it - does it really serve a purpose and go with a couple of other things in my closet - and will I wear it... and is it on sale or fabulous enough not to play the odds game of waiting for it to be marked down? Everyone needs a sport and this is mine.
Congratulations on your success. Now get over this one big hump and be totally fabulous!!!

XO

Hey Softie...just thought I waould share a giggle with you...I posted a recipe a few weeks ago, as writtena and posted on a local news program that called for "italian style panko breadcrumbs"...which you caught and confused us both because they are japanese...I actually SAW them in my grocery store yesterday, in the stuffing mix section...lol...who knew???

Thanks for accepting my invite, look forward to chatting with you!

Wow, your pictures of food are just gorgeous!

It was so nice of you to stop by and comment on my mushroom soup recipe. Thank you.

Roasted Root Vegetables
It's really hard to boil a root veggie after you have tasted it roasted. Love the combination.. I could live on roasted parsnips alone... :-)~
