About me
I have been cooking since the ripe old age of 8; when I first saw Julia Child and later Graham Kerr on television. Most kids when sick would watch cartoons or an old movie, can you say Sheriff John? But not me, I'd be watching cooking and making my own chicken soup. When I was 12 my mother gladly gave up her kitchen duties to me; and I've learned, cooked and grown in my skills. Living in the San Francisco area and eating at some of, arguably the best restaurants in the WORLD, I have gained a great appreciation for the skills of great cooks; professional chefs, amateur chefs, and just people who love to cook and aren't afraid to try new things.
