About me
Tarheel born and bred, now VA transplant X 28 years. Love to cook for family and friends and am entrenched in my Gramma's southern style. Of course we could never forget the eastern Carolina style pulled pork barbeque. Holidays find my family gathered around my table celebrating their southern heritage with Ham, collard greens, buttermilk biscuits, sweetened iced tea and a pound cake. After husband got out of military we settled here in VA and have never thought of moving. Hubby is Filipino and an environmental engineer. His relatives visit from PI and take my recipes back to share with friends and family halfway across the globe. That's a gorgeous, loving compliment that touches this gal's heart!
