About me
I've been spending the past couple of months learning to cook as much as I can. My mother was German and that has really affected what I like to cook and eat, but I enjoy most any cuisine. My cat Oscar (photo) doesn't care what I make, as long as he gets some. My husband is a little pickier. Many of the recipes I post will be for foods that I had as a kid but have had a hard time finding recipes for online, in case anyone else gets cravings for these tasty foods.

Cucumber Salad With Tomat

This was wonderful! It wasn't to vinegar-y for my family either. It had the perfect sugar salt balance to even it out. Love the addition of the celery seed! Thanks Sparroe
