About me
Hi All! I LOVE this site! I love cooking, baking, trying new recipes. Most times they work. I really like to hunt. Got my first deer this year! A doe. I hunt squirrels. Fish. I've even thought about going out there and ice fishing.( I asked my husband to get us a hole going). Camping. I used to like camping and it was tent camping. Well, now I have a Camper trailer. Now I LOVE camping! haha. I'm getting together a recipe book for the camper.I really like cooking over the fire. I have a coffee pot in case it rains ( providing there is electric) or there is the gas stove. I don't like to use it unless I have to though. I am married. He taught me how to hunt. I have an 9 Grandbabies. They love coming to grandma and grandpa's to fish. well, this is probably enough for now. Thanks all for a fabulous site! Yooper Creation Story In da beginning dere was nuttin' Den on da first day God created da U.P. da second day He created da Partridge, da deer, da bear, da fish, and da ducks. On da third day He said" Let dere be Yoopers to roam da U.P." On da forth day He created da udder world down below, and on da fifth day he said " let there be trolls to live in da world down below". On da sixth day He created ' Da Bridge' so da trolls would have a way to get to heaven. God saw it was good and on da seventh day He went Huntin!

My pleasure, sunflower. Same here. Thanks much for viewing/rating comments on the Shrimp Wontons With Ginger Soy Orange Dipping Sauce. Hope you enjoy :)

Tahnks for the welcome. I lived in Mississippi durring the 90's and went dear hunting there with a small hunting team. It was 18 degrees with no sun but I had a blast. All through my childhood my brothers and I would hunt squirrels and such on weekends. I would like to live more out in the country.

Speaking of cooking over a fire, a chef named Walter Staib has a fine cookbook coming out called The City Tavern Cookbook all about cooking over an open flame like they did in the 1700s in New England.
