Hi, I started for my son too who is now 10, He had been suffering from bronchial asthma and every year would get a very bad attack and one year when he was 7 we had to take him to the emergency room and then he had to breath in some steroids so his chest would stop caving in. After that I did a lot of research because I didn't understand why it only happened when he got sick, so I figured instead of giving him all those medicines they wanted me to give him, I would change his diet for one, raise his immune system so he wouldn't get sick and if he did he would be able to fight it off, that's also how i got started in the natural cleaning, and have learned a lot along the way and hope to learn more. It's been three since he has gotten an asthma attack so I know it changes lives and the quality of your home. Plus my lungs no longer burn when I clean, because I don't use any bleach. Thanks again, and thanks for the invite. Talk soon!

Thanks for the comments on the Chicken with Persimmon -- it really is good, and we JUST got some persimmons in our local grocery store the other day (a bit late, but hey....)

If I can butt it too, There are many different essential oils out there with different benefits and uses. Some can be used for killing mold like Tea Tree essential oil, also Tea Tree and Lavender are used to clean wounds, in world war 11 they used the oils to treat wounded soldiers. You can use Lavender to spray on door nob's to act as a disinfectant, all around your home, just mix a few drops with some water in a small plastic bottle and squirt away. Tea Tee and Lavender are the only two that can be applied directly on to the skin. If your using essential oil for cosmetics and lotions you would use a base like a carrier oil. I use essential oils in my cleaning and add it to lotions too, you can do some research if you like to find out more. There are some great books out there to get started with the basics of essential oils for cleaning and essential oils for cosmetics and aromatherapy, which I get that benefit too while cleaning.
